Fairview Health Services is
seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to join the multi-specialty practice at Fairview Clinics – Burnsville.
The CNM will work as a member of the healthcare team in the independent management of women's health care, focusing on pregnancy, childbirth, the postpartum period, care of the newborn and the family planning and gynecological needs of women. All Fairview CNMs practice in accord with the Standards of nurse Midwifery, as defined by the American College of Nurse Midwives (ACNM).

Hospital: Fairview Ridges Hospital
details: 3 day clinical work week.
Frequency: 1:5 with in-house OB emergency support on evenings and weekends.

the South Metro, adjacent to Fairview Ridges Hospital.

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and formal Nurse Midwife training program.
Have a current, or be eligible for a MN APRN license and be approved or eligible by the Minnesota Board of Nursing for prescription writing privileges.
Be certified through the American College of Nurse Midwives (ACNM)
Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for credentialing and privileges.
A minimum of 2 years of CNM experience is required. No new graduates will be considered.
