Fairview Health Services Radiologic Technologist in Burnsville, Minnesota
Fairview Health Services is looking for an experienced Radiology Technologist at Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville, MN. Schedule includes: 5-weekday shifts from 7:30AM – 5PM and one Saturday evening. The fast paced busy radiology department is looking for qualified candidates with a minimum of one year experience, hospital experience preferred. Radiology department serves both inpatient and outpatient clientele, including busy Emergency and Surgical Departments. Hours of operation are 24/7 every day of the year. Qualified candidates will be able to work well in a fast paced, always changing environment with an often unpredictable case load. Candidates must be professional, adaptable, a strong team player but also able to work well independently, and a reliable, critical thinker with the ability to provide patient centered care at all times.
To be successful, the Radiologic Technologist must be able to:
Provides services to patients and physicians through the creation of diagnostic images appropriate to the age of the patient
Meet the established standards of practice and patient care, supplies and equipment and for coordinating teamwork with all of the members of the health care team
Provides services to patients and physicians through the creation of high quality diagnostic imaging, provides quality age-appropriate patient care according to established standards of practice, and works collaboratively with all members of the health care team
Unique tasks to this job include:
High volume Emergency Department population
Some IR exams performed in radiology department
Able to comply with Technologist Expectations training
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
