Fairview Health Services Mammography Technologist in Maplewood, Minnesota
Are you a seasoned mammographer interested in working in a busy environment surrounded by a great team? In this role you will perform both the diagnostic and screening pieces.
Schedule: 10:30 - 7:30PM one day a week, rest of week business hours. One Saturday a month. No call. This is a benefit eligible position.
Maintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations and policies, procedures and standards
Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements to achieve clinical, satisfaction and/or efficiency outcomes
Performs mammography procedures to aid in diagnosis determination
Provides appropriate shielding to assure radiation protection
Utilizes appropriate measures to provide patient safety
Assists Radiologist or other staff physicians in procedure performance to expedite patient flow
Assists in maintenance of equipment to ensure proper function and availability
Maintains supply inventory to ensure availability of required items
Associate's degree from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program

Training in all aspects of mammography
Possesses skill and knowledge to operate mammography equipment.
Computer Skills Basic: Ability to use a computer and applications that are associated with performing basic work tasks (use a mouse, navigate in Windows, Outlook, etc)
Interpersonal Communication: Skilled in developing effective rapport with customers, co-workers, or families, actively listening to develop a positive connection
Patient Care Delivery: Observes and collects pertinent data and/or clinical findings to enhance patient outcomes
Patient Education: Provides patient educational information appropriate to the developmental level, learning needs, readiness, cultural values, and beliefs of patients and families
Patient Safety: Demonstrates practices that support safety with recognition of variations in populations served, preventing harm to patients, families, employees, and themselves
Professional Practice: Demonstrates behavior consistent with the standards, scope of practice, ethics, and characteristics of a licensed professional
