Health Unit Coordinator (HUC)

Ebenezer Care Center, rated a Top Employer by the Star Tribune, has an exciting opportunity available for a full time Health Unit Coordinator. This positions main responsibilities include: Assembly of patient charts; processing admissions and discharges; transcribing orders; documenting physician visits in the medical record and setting up resident appointments and transportation. The hours for this position is 10:00am – 6:30pm.

Qualifications include: Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a busy environment; must be highly motivated; strong organizational skills; excellent communication skills; good oral and written skills; PCC experience a plus; a minimum of one year experience as a HUC or Medical Records and HUC/Medical certificate or two-year degree preferred.
