Fairview Health Services RN Nurse Manager - Behavioral Health Float Pool/ECT in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Responsibilities/Job Description

This Nurse Manager role will plan, manage, coordinate and evaluate patient care activities of assigned areas including resource management, quality, regulatory compliance, educational opportunities, and financial management. This role serves as a leader and role model to all staff and also maintains clinical competencies of staff. This Nurse Manager will lead staff within the Behavioral Health Float Pool and ECT (Electroconvulsive Therapy) area, approximately 75-90 direct reports.


Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field. If bachelors is not in nursing then must have a Master's degree in nursing

Preferred Education:

  • Advanced Degree in nursing or related field

Minimum License/Certification/Registration:

  • Minnesota RN license, upon hire

Minimum Experience:

  • 3 years clinical nursing experience

  • 1 year of nursing leadership experience

  • Previous experience in a procedural area is required (ECT, SDS or related)
