Overview

Fairview Health Services is looking for a Housekeeping Aide at Fairview Northland Medical Center in Princeton, MN. The schedule for this position is casual and on a part time basis.

Responsibilities/Job Description

The Housekeeping Aide performs cleaning duties as assigned and keeps the facility orderly, attractive, clean and sanitary. The Housekeeping Aide also works in a patient care environment and provides cleaning services to medical staff as requested.

Qualifications

  • Able to lift 0 - 40lbs frequently

  • Capable of standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift

  • Capable of lifting furniture and equipment (25 - 100lbs) frequently

  • Capable of pushing and pulling a maid cart, linen cart, or various equipment (over 100lbs) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift

  • Must be able to handle/interact with all chemicals used (i.e. bleach, wax, disinfectant, etc.)

  • Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and even hours as needed per assigned area

  • Must have communication skills in English (reading, writing, and speaking)

  • Requires ability to work independently

  • Able to clean using repetitive motions, reach above shoulders, stoop and bend at the knees.
