Fairview Health Services Ambulance Supply Technician FT Evenings in St. Paul, Minnesota
Ensures all in-service ambulances are response ready by restocking equipment and supplies while also maintaining the cleanliness of the ambulance fleet to company standards and government requirements.
Great way to get experience working with ambulances! Successful candidate will have strong attention to details and be mechically inclined.. This is a full time benefits eligible.
Maintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations and policies, procedures and standards
Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements to achieve clinical, satisfaction and/or efficiency outcomes
Maintains the external and internal cleanliness of the ambulance fleet
Ensures that ambulance equipment is sanitized and sterilized to ensure compliance with company infection control policies, OSHA and/or other state and federal requirements
Maintains ambulance equipment inventory regularly to ensure appropriate resource management and recover of lost or damaged items.
Supplies and stocks medical bags and bins for ambulance crews.
Provides support as needed to assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the campus
High school graduate or equivalent
Experience: Medical inventory management experience preferred.
Must have a current drivers license and a driving record that meets the minimum requirements of insurability for HealthEast.
Ability to safely lift, pull, push and carry up to 50 pounds
Knowledge: EMS knowledge preferred
Computer Skills Basic: Ability to use a computer and applications that are associated with performing basic work tasks (use a mouse, navigate in Windows, Outlook, etc)
