Job Description:

The Admission Financial Rep. registers patients, verifies insurance, obtains pre-certification, and financially secures accounts in a fast paced clinic which includes allergy appointments. Resolves potential coverage issues working claims edits and mail returns. Reviews financial information to identify coverage issues. Obtains patient consent and delivers privacy information. Obtains necessary patient signatures on all related forms. Ensures patient receives privacy disclosure rights.

To be successful, the Admission Financial Rep. must be able to:

  • Schedule and maintain patient appointments

  • Provide excellent customer service

  • Maintain patient confidentiality

Job Qualifications:

Required

  • Competence using computer applications for demographic and financial usage

  • Ability to work independently

*Flexibility to work various shifts and locations required

Preferred

  • One year Admitting experience and/or health insurance experience

  • H.S. diploma/G.E.D
