Provide counseling to adolescents in a residential and intensive outpatient program. Conduct group and individual counseling, assessments, and therapeutici acitiviries with adolescents..Must have good documentation skills. Must also have effective communication skills and work well independently and with a team.
Bachelor's Degree preferred; LADC license required and completion of 30 hours of coursework or one 3 credit semester college course in adolescent development; 150 hours of supervised experience as an adolescent counselor wither as a student or staff member; experience working with adolescents who have chemical dependency issues.
