Within the call center of the Specialty Services and Mail Order department, our Pharmacy Technician Service Representatives (PTSR) assist patients across the nation daily, while assuring medication needs are met in every capacity. You will have the opportunity to advance your career through the four levels of the PTSR role and/or explore the various opportunities with the adjacent teams within the department.

Upon hire, you will complete our in-house Pharmacy Technician (Tech 240) training program. The six week paid on-the-job training course provides the skills, knowledge and requirements necessary to be successful in the role of a Fairview Pharmacy Technician. The first two weeks of Tech 240 are spent with the Fairview Pharmacy Services training team at our corporate office in a combination of classroom and hands-on training. The remaining weeks of your training program are completed on-site with your pharmacy team. During this time, learn medication basics, medication safety, basic calculations, collaborate with peers on various activities and complete a final project.

- Graduate of Pharmacy Technician Course
- Current registration by the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy, and if first registered on/after 1/1/2013, completion of a MNBOP approved employer based or vocational/technical training program.
- National Certified Pharmacy Technician; Fairview certified pharmacy technician.
- At least one year customer service experience.
One to Three years - Retail and/or pharmacy experience.
One to three years of experience in a call center. Computer and 10-key experience.
