Job Description:

Performs a wide range of clerical and indirect patient care functions and coordinates the flow of communication in the Emergency Department. Also functions as a receptionist within the department.

Job Qualifications:

Previous secretary/receptionist experience, or a completed vocational station secretary training program, or equivalent and related experience. Knowledge of medical hospital terminology required. Ability to effectively cope in stressful situations. Computer experience required as well with a minimum typing speed of 35 words per minute.
