Join the Princeton Clinic as a Medical Assistant in a Sleep Lab/Specialty setting! As a member of the care team, the Medical Assistant supports quality patient and family centered care principles through performing a variety of high level functions within a care team to support the needs of the healthcare team and patients/families.
To be successful the Medical Assistant must:
*Gather information and documents to support the patient visit
*Be responsible for adhering to all policies, procedures and practice guidelines
*Promote teamwork with all members of the health care team
*Maintain complete, timely and accurate clinical documentation for each patient and continually looking for opportunities to improve processes and workflow
*Room patients, take vitals and health history, document in an electronic medical record, give injections and assist with minor procedures
This position will tentatively work this schedule:
Monday - 5.5 hours in specialty
Tuesday - 1-5:15pm in sleep lab
Wednesday - 8 hours in specialty
Thursday - 1-5:15 in sleep lab
Friday - 7:15-4:30pm in Pulmonology Clinic
*Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program (or be a current LPN within Fairview)
*Current BLS certification required upon hire
*Willingness to travel to other clinics as needed
*Current certification by the AAMA
*Previous experience in a clinic setting
*Willingness and ability to work at other locations
