Working under the direction of Nursing Personnel, partner with nursing team to provide patient care. Nursing Assistant in Float pool at Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville, MN will float to a specific nursing unit or several units in any one given shift. Staffing assignments are determined on a per shift basis. Duties may include; patient cares, vitals, bathing, feeding, answering call lights, transporting, care of environment (by stocking, cleaning, and maintaining rms) and use of equipment. May work as a patient attendant.
WORK SCHEDULE: 56 or 64 hours in two weeks (exact amount determined at offer), 8 hr shifts, Nights 11pm -730 am, e./o wknd, share of holidays. Benefit eligible

Requires previous experience as a nursing assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant, or currently a nursing student with at least 1 semester of nursing clinicals completed. Requires ability to work in a fast paced environment with a diverse patient population, multi tasking abilities, strong customer service, and excellent communication and teamwork skills. Must have computer competencies including computer-based charting. Strongly prefer Nursing Assistant training and 1 year of hospital based Nursing Assistant experience.
Requires ability to provide written validation of current basic life support competency for health careviders prior to start date
