Nursing assistant (NA) Working under the direction of Nursing Personnel on 40 bed unit Med Surg 3 (Medical and Cardiac Intermediate care patients) at Fairview Ridges Hospital located in Burnsville, MN.
Partner with nursing team (RN) to provide care. Duties may include; patient cares, vitals, bathing, feeding, answering call lights, transporting, care of environment (by stocking, cleaning, and maintaining rooms) and use of equipment. May work as a patient attendant.
WORK SCHEDULE: Position could be .3(3 shifts), .4 (4 shifts-32 hrs),or .5 (40 hours ) in two weeks. Exact amount determined at offer. They are 8 hr shifts, Nights 11pm -730 am, E/E wknd, share of holidays.
Opportunity to pick up shifts may exist. Position is year round

Previous work experience as a nursing assistant/pca/pct or similar patient care role, Certified Nursing Assistant, or currently a nursing student (RN/LPN) with at least 1 semester of nursing clinical completed required
Ability to provide written validation of current basic life or CPR support competency for health care providers prior to start date
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with a diverse patient population, multi- tasking abilities
Strong customer service experience and excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Must have computer competencies; including computer-based charting.
Acute or subacute LTC/TCU Nursing Assistant experience.
