The Fairview Southdale Hospital is an award winning multispecialty health care system in the southwest Twin Cities metro area. It is comprised of more than 40 specialty services, using innovative technologies and treatments with the art of medicine.
This position is authorized 48 hours per two weeks during the night shift from 11pm to 7:30am including every other weekend and is eligible for benefits.
About the Job:
The Nursing Assistant assists under the direct supervision of a professional nurse in the delivery of direct patient care.
In this role, you will work to demonstrate excellent customer service, teamwork and communication skills with patients, families, and the healthcare team on a fasted paced unit. Other job duties include:
Patient care such as personal hygiene, vitals, daily activities, repositioning, ambulating, transporting, feeding, and documentation
Setting up and maintaining patient rooms
Ordering and stocking of supplies
A self-starter, who is passionate about creating an exceptional patient experience, will receive top consideration.
You will be required to:
Be actively on the Nursing Assistant Registry.
Have current Basic Life Support Certification through American Heart or American Red Cross.
Possess exceptional communication skills such as clear speech, ability to read, legible handwriting, and strong computer skills

Have current Nursing Assistant related experience
