Job Description:

About the Job:

The Nursing Assistant assists under the direct supervision of a professional nurse in the delivery of direct patient care.

In this role, you will work to demonstrate excellent customer service, teamwork and communication skills with patients, families, and the healthcare team on a fasted paced unit. Other job duties include:

· Patient care such as personal hygiene, vitals, daily activities, repositioning, ambulating, transporting, feeding, and documentation

· Setting up and maintaining patient rooms

· Ordering and stocking of supplies

This position is 56 hours per two weeks, 8 hour shifts with every other weekend. Benefit eligible.

Job Qualifications:

A self-starter, who is passionate about creating an exceptional patient experience, will receive top consideration.

You will be required to:

Be actively on the Nursing Assistant Registry.

Have current Basic Life Support Certification through American Heart or American Red Cross.

Possess exceptional communication skills such as clear speech, ability to read, legible handwriting, and strong computer skills

We prefer if you:

Have current Nursing Assistant related experience
