Tray assemble, tray cart delivery, tray deliver to the patients, steam table and deli counter work in the cafe. Plating and preparation of desserts and salads for use on the patient trayline and in the cafeteria. Tray disassembly, receiving clean dishes and pans, cashier work, ringing transactions on a cash register, restocking of work stations, stocking of floors and the delivery of nourishments to patients. Clean and reset work area, as described in specific work descriptions/outlines.
Physical Demands: Standing, walking, repetitive actions, hearing, seeing, lifting above shoulders maximum 15 lbs, carrying at waist level, pushing, speaking.
Mental Demands: Frequent people contact, deadlines and interruptions, ability to work independently, decision making skills, organizational skills and concentration and ability to work with others.
Working knowledge of the english language. Must have a comprehension of the spoken word, to take direction from supervisory staff, and a comprehension of the written word. Ability to read recipe directions, must have a figure aptitude for work in the cafeteria (cashier) and tray passing, and to work with weights and measures. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
