Come work with a close-knit team that is centrally located near the University of Minnesota campuses in our Long Term Care Pharmacy department! Within Long Term Care, you will deepen your skills as a Pharmacy Technician with the ability to cross-train across multiple work stations. This closed door pharmacy offers various shifts from 7:00am-10:00pm Monday-Friday and 9:00am-5:00pm Saturday-Sunday. Join us in providing excellent service to our various partnering facilities!
Job Responsibilities Include:
Assist in preparing and dispensing medications and supplies in both vials and unit dose packaging
Providing superior customer service to both skilled nursing and assisted living facilities
Unpacking/verifying stock-to-invoices and maintaining the pharmacy in proper order
Current or pending registration by the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy, and if first registered on/after 1/1/2013, completion of a MNBOP approved employer based or vocational/technical training program.
Pharmacy technician experience and knowledgeable of data entry and insurance adjudications.
Excellent customer service skills, proficient in the English language, good attention to detail, ability to problem solve effectively, ability to follow policies and procedures, basic math skills, basic typing skills and excellent communication skills.
