Job Description:

In collaboration with patients and families, the physical therapist is responsible for providing safe and effective delivery of patient care within scope of practice. This includes examination, evaluation, diagnosis, planning, intervention and establishing outcomes. The physical therapist will cover between Southdale and Ridges hospital and corresponding outpatient departments in that area (subject to change.) The PT will primarily support inpatient but some outpatient as well.

-Travels to and provides care in multiple settings as assigned

-Demonstrates personal flexibility to meet staffing and patient needs

-Manages unanticipated changes throughout the day

-Demonstrates ability to provide care with a variety of clinical populations

-Completes assigned duties prior to transition to subsequent setting and/or establishes handoff for continuity of care

-Adaptable in responding to demands of multiple processes and supervisors

This position is benefit and PTO eligible! The schedule will be 80 hours per two week pay period.

Job Qualifications:



Physical Therapy registration/licensure in the state of Minnesota or temporary license in the state of Minnesota



Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy


1+ year

Experience in an acute care setting

Additional Requirements:

Basic Life Support certfication
