Job Description:

The primary role of the Physician Advance Practice On-boarding Navigator is to manage, monitor and oversee the on-boarding processes for all new Physicians and Advance Practice Providers (APPs); ensuring that all Physicians and APPs meet their targeted date of employment. Recognizing the unique aspect of each Physician and APP, this role will provide guidance and support in completing all necessary requirements to include: Licensure/DEA, Credentialing, Payor Enrollment Forms, EOHS, employment paperwork, EPIC training and marketing bio information. This person will also manage and oversee relocation processes for Physicians and APPs with adherence to Fairview's Relocation Policy and the reporting of taxable/non-taxable items based on criteria set forth by the IRS. This role will collaboratively work with departments across Fairview; especially, credentialing and payor enrollment to ensure that all necessary items are complete and that Fairview has the ability to capture revenue based on the clinical activities of all providers. As the steward of the on-boarding process, this person will collaborate with operations and provide consultation in determining and/or establishing alternative start date for the on-boarding provider. Ensuring all aspects of pre-employment criteria is met, this role will request and obtain position numbers and, if needed, job codes in order to enlist the provider into HR system(s) and payroll. In addition, this role supports the Physician Recruitment processes to include: background and reference checks, coordination of site visit/interview and preparation of the offer process. This role will also manage and maintain immigration files; meeting criteria for audit purposes.

Job Qualifications:


Technical or 2 year degree required or High School degree plus applicable experience.

3-5 years experience in staffing, recruiting and/or, credentialing.


4 year degree

3-5 years plus experience in staffing, credentialing and/or recruiting of physician and advanced practice providers specifically.
