Job Description:

The Registered Polysomnographic Technologist performs comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders under the general supervision of the medical director (MD, PhD, DO), or designee. This may involve polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services or patient care and education. Duties include but are not limited to:

*Perform comprehensive sleep diagnostic tests.

*Gather and analyze patient information and history

*Testing preparation procedures.

*Polysomnographic procedures

*Ensure equipment safety, cleaning and sterilization.

*Polysomnographic record scoring

*Perform Post-test follow up

Job Qualifications:

Required:

*On year post high school education in a health sciences field

*RPSGT or RRT

Preferred:

*Associate or Bachelor's degree in a health science field.

*Recent sleep experience.

*BCLS, CRT, REEG, LPN, paramedic or EMT
