The RN is responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for all assigned patient population(s). The RN is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordnace with all policy, procedure, and professional practice guidelines. The RN coordinates care withother members of the health care team and delegates responsibilities to others as appropriate.
Physical demands: Sitting, standing, walking, lifting-max 35lbs, push/pull-max. 35 lbs, balance, stooping/crouching, grasping, writing, finger dexterity/keyboarding, reaching, color vision, operate machinery, physical presence at work.

Required Qualifications: AD. BLS. 1 year of RN Med/Surg experience required. Extended orientation may be offered to nurses with a minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg experience in hospital setting.
ACLS, Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) and PALS certification within one year of hire.
Preferred Qualifications: BSN. One year Emergency Department, pediatric or adult critical care experience. Certification by the Emergency Nurses Association (CEN) and/or course in advanced trauma nursing (CATN).
