Job Description:

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for all assigned patient population(s). The RN is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, professional practice guidelines and the MN Nurse Practice Act. The RN coordinates care with members of the health care team and delegates responsibilities to others as appropriate.

Join our expanding and successful float pool. As a float pool RN you will float to the ortho, neuro units, medical/tele unit, Cardiac telemetry, observation and medical/oncology unit. You will have additional opportunity to cross train to one or more of the following areas if needs dictate: Intensive Care, Intermediate Care (medical and surgical), ED, Post-Partum, and Mental Health. This is a night position, 12 hour shifts with every third weekend. Benefit eligible.

Job Qualifications:

Required: Current RN License in state of Minnesota and BLS for Health Care Providers. Preferred: Recent (within 1 year) med-surg experience preferred. Neuro and critical care experience preferred. IV skills preferred. Strong customer service skills are required. Must be flexible, able to multi-task, and have good organizational, time-management, and conflict management skills. BSN.
