Job Description:

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for all assigned patient population(s). The RN is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, professional practice guidelines and the MN Nurse Practice Act. The RN coordinates care with members of the health care team and delegates responsibilities to others as appropriate.

The Heart Center is a 35 bed unit consisting of 23 bed telemetry unit and a 12 bed CCU. Our team cares for a variety of cardiac patients including Heart Failure, Cardiomyopathy, Acute Coronary Syndrome, Cardiac Dysrhythmias and many other cardiac diagnosis. We utilize computerized charting. The unit is fast paced and challenging, with many learning opportunities. Candidates with superb customer service and a positive attitude will be considered for this position. This is a night position, 12 hour shifts with every third weekend. Benefit eligible.

Job Qualifications:

Required MN RN license, BLS & ACLS, and two years of RN cardiac/tele hospital experience required. Preferred BSN, Hospital & Telemetry experience preferred. Desired Skills A self starter, who is passionate about creating an exceptional patient experience, will receive top consideration.
