Job Description:

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for all assigned patient population(s). The RN is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, professional practice guidelines and the MN Nurse Practice Act. The RN coordinates care with members of the health care team and delegates responsibilities to others as appropriate. This position works 12 hour shifts, every 3rd weekend.

The Heart Center is a 35 bed unit consisting of 23 bed telemetry unit and a 12 bed CCU. Our team cares for a variety of cardiac patients including Heart Failure, Cardiomyopathy, Acute Coronary Syndrome, Cardiac Dysrhythmias and many other cardiac diagnosis. We utilize computerized charting. The unit is fast paced and challenging, with many learning opportunities. Candidates with superb customer service and a positive attitude will be considered for this position.

Job Qualifications:

Required

MN RNlicense ACLS, BLS and 2+ years of cardiac telemetry experience

Preferred

BSN and Hospital experience preferred.
