The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for all assigned patient population(s). The RN is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, professional practice guidelines and the MN Nurse Practice Act. The RN coordinates care with members of the health care team and delegates responsibilities to others as appropriate. The Birthplace is a 13 bed LDR where we provide both antepartum and intrapartum care in a family centered environment. We recently remodeled and updated rooms in our department to provide additional services for our families in a more family and caregiver friendly space. We also have a 3 bed Maternal Assessment Center, 2 room operating suite, and PACU. Positions also includes care for couplets in the Family Care Center- our 30 bed postpartum and newborn nursery area. Candidate with superb customer service and positive attitude will be considered for this position. This is a night position, 12 hour shifts with every third weekend. Benefit eligible.
Required: Current Minnesota RN license, BLS with American Heart Association or American Red Cross as a Healthcare Provider and current Labor and Delivery RN Experience within the past 3 years.
Preferred: BSN and NRP
