Job Description:

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for all assigned patient population(s). The RN is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, professional practice guidelines and the MN Nurse Practice Act. The RN coordinates care with members of the health care team and delegates responsibilities to others as appropriate. The Spine, Brain & Stroke Center is a 19-bed unit, caring for patients with stroke and other neurological illnesses, as well as post-operative spine surgicals. This is a night position, 12 hour shifts with every third weekend. Benefit eligible.

Job Qualifications:

Required: Current RN License in state of Minnesota and BLS for Health Care Providers.

Preferred: Recent (within 1 year) med-surg experience preferred. Neuro experience preferred. IV skills preferred. Strong customer service skills are required. Must be flexible, able to multi-task, and have good organizational, time-management, and conflict management skills. BSN
