Coordinate the medical care and medication management services for adolescents with chemical health and mental health issues in a substance abuse residential and outpatient program. Coordinate care with program medical provider and other servcie providers, as well as parents. Provide medical care as needed to clients, and conduct regular RN lectures and groups to educate clients on teen health issues. Manage the MAR with detailed precision. Provide staff trainings related to medication administration, medical issues, and medications. complete nursing medical admissions. Most clients also have mental health diagnoses.
RN experience with adolescent population.
RN behavioral health experience.
Experience with leading group activities and/or lectures.
Training and experience administering medication and managing the MAR.
Experience coordinating medical and medication care with phyicians or psychiatrists.
Experience with Electronic Health Record systems.
