This SFA position is responsible for developing, interpreting and implementing financial concepts for financial planning around capital planning. This individual must update and report out on the changes to capital plan. They need to be prepared to offer input and suggestions on potential areas of opportunity.
Primary areas of responsibility are to track and analyze the cost performance of multiple capital projects while providing excellent analytics as well as accurate and clear variance explanations on a monthly basis. Actively engage with Operational and Finance Leaders to assist in the development of value propositions, SBARs, and to review capital requests submitted into StrataJazz.
This position is responsible for initiating customer communications with Executive Leaders and management of the overall Capital committee process. Also responsible for providing monthly standardized reports across the organization and coordinating inputs for Corporate and Executive reporting deliverables.
Specifically this individual would be responsible for:
Deliver Support and Reporting to Sr. Leaders ensuring that they have the required data/information to accurately report out on Capital
Own Monthly Capital Variance Reporting including discrepancy resolution and follow up on variances
Prepare materials for Capital Oversight Group, Growth Capital, and Infrastructure Capital Committees.
Attend all Capital Group meetings to provide support and analytics.
Deliver Support for Operational Areas as needed and interface with other Shared Business Services to ensure alignment with the approved capital process.
Own the Capital Policies and Procedures documentation to ensure the latest information is available to Operations and Finance Leaders.
Enhancing the current monthly reporting to take advantage of current applications to enhance the value of reports to business leaders
Minimum Education & Certifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration.
Preferred Education & Certifications
CMA / CPA
4 -6 years and/or equivalent experience in accounting or finance related role.
7-10 years experience; health care setting preferred.
