The Sr. Pricing Analyst is accountable for providing senior level analytical support and project management to the Director of Pricing. They will also provide analytical direction to projects related to retail and managed care pricing models for hospital, physician, and continuum services. This position will develop and maintain a comprehensive database of competitor and benchmark pricing information to develop retail and reimbursement pricing strategies for Fairview's core services and/or service lines. The Sr. Pricing Analyst will also build and maintain pricing benchmark databases utilizing reimbursement and cost information for all chargeable services and supplies. As well as complete annual hospital and clinic pricing updates to arrive at financial targets established by senior management. This position is responsible for the content, integrity and maintenance of hospital and professional fee schedules and will also provide senior analytical support to special projects as needed.
BA or BS from an accredited College or University
1-2 years' experience in healthcare finance or relevant analytical experience
Advanced computer skills including detailed data analysis and Excel formulas
5-10 years of Pricing Analyst experience
Previous experience using: TSI, EPIC, IDX, MHA, CMS, and Ingenix
Familiar with CPT/HCPC codes and reimbursement methodologies
