About the Job
This is primarily a staffer position with some patient placement. Job duties include: Providing timely shift to shift staffing; manage staff scheduling, adhering to both legal and contractual requirements. Keep complete, timely and accurate staffing records within electronic systems. Communicates and collaborates with staff and patient care units of assigned schedules and ongoing staffing needs. This dual position will also: coordinate inpatient admissions to acute care units from time of decision to admit, to placement of patient in an appropriate bed. Performs entry into ADT systems, as well as transfers and discharges patient accounts in a timely and accurate manner. Facilitates planning of scheduled admissions and unit-to-unit transfer.

This position is authorized 48 hours per two week pay period
Includes every third weekend rotation (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
8:00 pm to 8:30 am
12 hour long shifts
