Staffing Specialists are responsible for:
Meeting the daily staffing needs of the patient care units utilizing the float pool, per diem and agency staff
Determine the staffing needs of patient care departments with assistance from others
Schedule existing staff to fill those needs on a day-to-day, shift-to-shift basis
The staffing includes but is not limited to staffing RNs, NAs, NSTs, and HUCs for both the University and Riverside campuses. This position is high in customer service, phone and computer skills.
This position will work every other weekend night shifts 11pm-7:30am. Plus rotating holidays.
Basic computer skills
An ability to work on the phones
Excellent customer service skills
Previous related experience in a hospital setting
