Job Description:

The Data Storage Supervisor role gives direction and leads/coordinates efforts across IT for design, configuration, development, integration, testing, implementation, documentation and support the Storage and Backup infrastructure environments. Manage teams' efforts in building of Storage and Backup Infrastructure services through continuous improvement. Leads the efforts with Architecture, Operational teams to develop, apply and support for Enterprise Storage and Backup Infrastructure processes, tools and environments.

Job Qualifications:

Required

Bachelor's degree or Associates Degree in technology field or equivalent work experience

3-5 years' experience managing teams/projects across multiple hardware platforms, and integrated information management systems

Project Management experience

Expertise in Storage and Backup technologies

Knowledge and understanding of Storage and Backup Security Practices

Good knowledge and understanding of Security Compliance including data privacy practices and law

Technical knowledge of VMware and other Virtualization Technologies

Knowledge in core enterprise infrastructure

Technical knowledge of PC's, Networks and other Operating Systems

Technical knowledge of supporting Hardware including Intel, Cisco and SAN / NAS environments

Tier 1 Storage certifications
