Job Description:

Responsible for providing customer service, preparing and dispensing medications and supplies, handling cash register transactions, processing inpatient orders in the pharmacy information system, processing and filling outpatient prescriptions, stocking medications and supplies, and assisting the pharmacist as required.

Job Qualifications:

Education: Minimum Education: Enrolled as a 1st, 2nd or 3rd Year Student at the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy beginning Fall of 2018. Minimum Licensure Requirements: Applicant should have current or pending Pharmacy Technician registration with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy. Experience: Preferred Experience: Previous pharmacy or medical experience Additional Requirements: Applicant should have excellent customer service skills, be proficient in the English language, have good attention to detail, ability to problem solve effectively, ability to follow policies and procedures, basic math skills, basic typing skills and excellent communication skills.
