Job Description:

The supervisor is responsible for staff development (clinical and support staff), managing resources, and clinical leadership. In collaboration with the patients and families, the supervisor is responsible for providing safe and effective delivery of patient care within scope of practice for the discipline they are credentialed. This includes examination, evaluation, diagnosis, planning, intervention and establishing outcomes.

This position is for the Supervisor of Outpatient Pediatric Therapy at the New Hope clinic, and would include overseeing Occupational, Speech and Physical Therapy for children of all ages.

This position is going to be authorized for 48-80 per two week pay period (to be determined at time of hire.) It is benefit and PTO eligible.

Job Expectations:

Productivity Management

Visionware management - manages day to day staffing to achieve VisionWare/productivity targets, variance report writing and variance monitoring

Staffing - identify volume needs and staffs appropriately

Manages Performance

Conducts annual performance reviews with direct reports, working collaboratively with director on appropriate ratings/increases

Provides direct reports ongoing feedback and coaching throughout the year

Conducts crucial conversations

Cascades goal from work plan with clinical staff and support staff

Collaborates with director on formal Corrective Action issues

Builds a culture that engages and excites

Conducts employee rounding

Manages up senior leadership

Staff Development

Participates in the interviewing/hiring process

Coordinates and directs new employee orientation

Facilitates goal development and ongoing review of achieving goals

Manages relationships with students/student coordinator

Demonstrates knowledge of department operations

HR/Payroll systems management

Job Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications to Fulfill Job Responsibilities:



1 year experience


Active MN licensure in a field of Rehabilitation Services, Audiology, Pulmonary Rehabilitation, or Cardiac Rehabilitation

Basic Life Support certification



Advance degree in Rehabilitation Services, Audiology, Cardiac Rehabilitation or Pulmonary Rehabilitation


3-5 years' experience, leadership training
